When it comes to getting traffic to a blog or website, it take a lot of work if you don’t know where to get started either you are newbies of professional in internet business.
When I first started, one of my challenges was getting traffic that can convert into sales. Whether you are a blogger or affiliate marketer, you need traffic to make sales and earns commission for your heard work.
Pinterest, one of the best social media is a place where people can share their valuable information with others. Getting traffic from pinterest is not as difficult as many people think. If you want to get the best from blogging, you need traffic that can convert very well.

1.Quality and premium Image for you pin
One of the trick I learnt is that quality and premium image get more repins and click compare to just image. When it comes to social media, image attract people’s attention than text.

2. Use Hashtag
Recently, pinterest introduced hashtag and people as been testing it to see if It will work or not. From my view, it can expose your pin to more followers especially when searching pinterest using keywords. I have seen many pins with hashtag and they are performing very well.
Make sure you make use of this new feature and see your traffic skyrocket in no time
3.Manual pinning
I know many people use pinterest schedulers such as Boardbooster and tailwind to schedule their pins. Yes, I also use both to schedule all my pins. Recently I discovered that pining manually increase my traffic significantly.
If you don’t have time for manual pining, you can still find little time each day or alternatively, install pinterest mobile app, you can pin directly from your smartphone or any mobile phone at your leisure’s time
Pinning 20 to 40 pins per day should not be a problem with your phone.

5.Use powerful headline in your pins.
Most people will see your title of the pin first, and these will tell them if they need to check the pin or not. No matter what type of content you have on your blog, title of your pin and your blog post determine if visitor will be interested in reading your content or not. Using strong tittle can increase your click rate and can also make your pinterest pin go viral.
6. Colour of your pins.
Many people may be wonder what colour has to do with pinterest. Yes, it matters.75 to 80 percent of pinterest traffic are from mobile. If you create your pin on desktop, make sure you check it through mobile to ensure that the colour of the pin does not affect the text. People should be able you see the text on the pin clearly either from desktop or from mobile.
7.Include long tail Keywords in pin description
You need to treat pinterest as a search engine just like Google.When people are searching for keywords related to your pin, your pins will easily coming up and this can expose it to more followers and go viral. You can get long tail keywords from search bar, just type any keyword related to your pin,it will show more keywords that you can include in your pin description.
8.Include Call to Action
You know about copywriter and how important is the call to action. Most blogger ignore the use of call to action which can trigger visitor to click on your pin to read about your content.
Here are the examples of call to action you can include in your pin or pin description: ‘’Click here to read more’’, ‘’click here to check It out’’, ‘’learn more’’, ‘’check details here’’
You don’t just assume that visitors should know that they need to click on link to read more about your content.
I have seen many pins with call to action, and there is possibility that they are getting more result. I think you may need to give it a try and see how it works.
